This attractive self-catering log cabin lodge, which features a hot tub on the balcony is situated right on the water’s edge and has been designed specifically with couples in mind. (For anglers – you can fish from the water’s edge and actually catch fish!) A cathedral-style roof adds great character and warmth to this charming holiday retreat.
Saorsa has a spacious kitchen area with all the convenience of home, including a freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, the Bosch coffee machine uses tassimo coffee pods which you can purchase from amazon.
The living area is complete with luxurious furnishings and a 50 Inch smart TV the French doors lead on to the balcony which boasts magnificent views across the loch to mounts Canisp and Suilven.
There is one very comfortable king size bedroom with full bed linen provided, comprising modern insulated duvets & pillow cases. The bed is made up for arrival.
A large fully tiled bathroom has an electric walk-in shower (please note no bath available). In the vestibule there is a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The log cabin has climate control electric heating throughout. Wheelchair access is permanently available.
Saorsa also has an exclusive parking area within a private enclosure and Barbeque facilities are set up to enjoy in the long summer evenings.

This is our second visit to Soarsa at Mountview Lochinver and we still just love it. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and accommodating – we have dogs with us, and they make it possible for then to enjoy a holiday too. The hotter is great – I want one. We will be back – once we can find dates as they are clearly very popular and all booked up! Looking forward to our next visit already
